Trust Center Builder
Customize every aspect of your Trust Center from a visual editor.
Builder overview
The Trust Center Builder is a drag-and-drop visual editor accessible from your dashboard. Changes you make in the builder are saved automatically as a draft. Your live Trust Center only updates when you click “Update Live Site.”
Design styles
Trusteo offers two design styles for your Trust Center:
- Classic — A single scrolling page with all sections visible at once. Great for simple trust centers with a few sections.
- Modern — A tabbed interface with a hero section and organized tabs (Overview, Compliance, Controls, Documents, Subprocessors). Ideal for comprehensive trust centers.
Switch between styles anytime from the design selector in the builder toolbar.
Section types
Your Trust Center is built from these section types:
Compliance
Display your compliance certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.) with official logos and status indicators. Add certifications from the three-dots menu on the card.
Security Posture
A grid of security cards covering areas like Product Security, Data Security, and Application Security. Each card contains individual security items (e.g. “Encryption at rest,” “MFA enabled”). Add, edit, or remove items from the three-dots menu.
Documents
Shows your uploaded documents with their access levels. Documents are managed from the Documents page in your dashboard and automatically appear in the builder.
Subprocessors
List the third-party vendors and subprocessors your company uses. Each entry includes a name, purpose, and location. Edit from the three-dots menu.
Risk Profile
Display key risk profile information such as data hosting region, data retention policy, and encryption standards. Edit from the three-dots menu.
Trusted By
Show logos of companies that trust your product. Add partner domains and Trusteo automatically fetches their logos.
Reordering & hiding sections
Drag sections using the handle on the right side of each card to reorder them. To hide a section, open the three-dots menu and select “Hide Section.” Hidden sections can be re-enabled from the builder toolbar.
Draft vs. published
The builder always edits your draft configuration. Your visitors see the published version. This means you can make changes without affecting the live site until you're ready.
- Preview — Shows your draft (unpublished changes)
- Update Live Site — Copies your draft to the live version
Tip: Use Preview to share a draft link with your team for review before publishing.
