Custom Domain

Overview

By default, your Trust Center is available at yourcompany.trusteo.co. With a custom domain, you can use your own subdomain like trust.yourcompany.com or security.yourcompany.com.

Custom domains are available on the Pro and Enterprise plans.

Setup instructions

Step 1: Choose your domain

Pick a subdomain you'd like to use. Common choices:

• trust.yourcompany.com
• security.yourcompany.com
• compliance.yourcompany.com

Step 2: Add a CNAME record

In your DNS provider (e.g. Cloudflare, Route 53, GoDaddy), add a CNAME record:

DNS propagation typically takes a few minutes but can take up to 48 hours.

Step 3: Add the domain in Trusteo

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Domain and enter your custom domain. Trusteo will verify the CNAME record and automatically provision an SSL certificate.

SSL certificates

SSL certificates are automatically provisioned and renewed for your custom domain. Your Trust Center will always be served over HTTPS with a valid certificate — no manual setup required.

Troubleshooting

• Domain not verifying: Double-check the CNAME record value is cname.trusteo.co and wait for DNS propagation.
• SSL errors: SSL provisioning can take a few minutes after domain verification. Try again shortly.
• Cloudflare users: Set the proxy status to “DNS only” (gray cloud) for the CNAME record to avoid conflicts.
